Hello, I’m Adedayo, Day for short. I wasn’t planned in the studio like everyone else in this Diadems’ world. It kind of started in a little cafe in Queens Village, PA. Nothing fancy, just tea, coffee, and chocolate cake. My designer and her mentor were talking about making something easy to wear. “Something that could belong to everyone?” her mentor asked. So I came out in denim, easy, familiar, like your favorite everyday jeans. But if you look a little closer, I’ve got culture tucked inside me … and even on my handle.
